Molded rubber products are made by compression molding, transfer molding and injection molding techniques. They are further classified as homogeneous rubber, fabric reinforced rubber and rubber-to-metal products. Synaflex also has the capability of furnishing custom molded sheet to the most exacting specifications. Unique capabilities include our ability to manufacture large, fully molded parts in our 84" x 108" press.

Lathe Cut Products

Lathe cut products are manufactured from a cylindrical tube of rubber by inserting a mandrel into the tube and cutting the finished dimensions with a knife while the mandrel is being turned at high speed in a lathe-type machine. Lathe cut products have numerous applications including: seals, drive belts, feed wheels, vibration dampeners, bumpers, bushings and insulators.

Synaflex rubber roll covering capabilities include the use of virtually all elastomers which can be applied to steel rolls up to 28" in diameter and 15 feet in length. Special surface finishes can be furnished to meet the requirements of the most demanding applications.
